Famous Villas in Strašnice I - From U nových vil to Solidarita In the vicinity of the Strašnická metro station there are two villa developments from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, in the centre of which we can find the Strašnická jewel, the Trmal Villa by Jan Kotera. Around the Sokolovna and "Barča" we will go to another villa development from the time before the First Republic. We will end our walk at Solidarita, the first and still unique housing complex of row houses from the time of the Two Years post-war development plan. We will talk about its history and the stories of the people who live here.
