Lesser Town Curiosities

This walk is for anyone who wants to explore the well-known routes through the Lesser Town and discover places we pass every day but often overlook or don't know the history of. We will focus on lesser-known facts, places, and points of interest that illustrate the history of the 19th and 20th centuries. You will learn who Masaryk's grandchildren modeled for, where the icon of modern sculpture Hana Wichterlová lived and worked, what Professor Smotlacha left behind, where president Masaryk met with his girlfriend, under which tree Ludwig van Beethoven rested during his visit to Prague, and many other curiosities.

  • Barrier-free (only a small uphill climb without steps at the beginning).
  • Duration: 1.5-2 hours
  • Start: At the information board (about the Petřín Gardens) in front of the entrance to the cable car at Újezd.

Date and start of the walk: This walk can only be booked in English as an individual tour

I am tentatively interested in an individual walk
