Podolí - from the famous villas to the waterworks cathedral

On the walk I will guide you through interesting places of the interwar villa development. I will show you where the artist Jiří Trnka and the world-famous architect Eva Jiřičná lived, you will see one of the first functionalist villas in Prague and learn about its unjustly forgotten owner. We will see an interesting complex of socialist realism from the 1950s. The walk ends at the "waterworks cathedral" and the floating shipyard on an unused warship that Hitler's Germany planned to deploy to fight Great Britain.
