Střešovice – a district of famous villas and picturesque workers colonies

Střešovice is not just Muller's and Rothmayer's villa. The First Republic district of Na Bateriích, which lies between two picturesque village reserves, Velké Střešovice and Střešovičky, hides a number of interwar architectural gems. We will learn about the history of the workers' colonies in Střešovice and what life is like there today, walk through Střešovice's "Golden Lane," see what traces architects Oskar Oehler and Bohumír Kozák left behind, and visit the place where a famous double agent was arrested during WWII.
