Urban Sketching - Draw a cityscape

Fancy trying something different and don't know what? You have never drawn or on the contrary you draw and would like to try something new? Do you keep a diary but haven't thought of drawing in it? We will talk about how the Urban Sketching movement started, you will see examples of different sketches and sketching materials, we will explain the basics of composition, you will see a short demonstration of sketching and finally you will draw something yourself. For the walk you will need a small A5/A4 sketchbook or pad without lines, but it can be bigger or smaller, a 4B pencil and I recommend getting at least one liner (a marker with document ink that won't smudge). You can have markers, crayons, pen, brushes with ink, just anything you are comfortable drawing or doodling with. And an eraser. Drawing en plein air is usually done on benches on your lap, so I recommend a sketchbook or notebook that has sturdy boardsor a separate a sturdy board to put your paper/sketchbook on your lap.
